How to register in the service?

To register, you need to
- open the Anydrive app,
- specify your mobile phone number, to which you will receive an SMS with a PIN code for authorization
- accept the General Terms and Conditions and give your consent to personal data processing
- enter your e-mail

- your passport/ID card, from both sides
- your driving license, from both sides
- make a selfie with passport/ID card

What is my login?

What is my password?

A unique sequence of numbers sent to you via SMS to the contact mobile phone number provided upon the registration in the Anydrive app.Please note that if you use the telephone number of a mobile operator that is not registered in the UAE, the particularities of operation of the systems of mobile operators increase the risk of late receiving or not receiving the SMS sent by Anydrive.

Who can use the service?

Anyone is welcome to rent a vehicle from Anydrive as long as you meet the following criteria:

Which documents do I need to register with Anydrive?

UAE resident
If you are a UAE Resident or a Citizen (holding a Residency visa), you need to have the following documents below:
1. UAE Driving license which is older than 6 months.
2. Emirates ID
3. A clear selfie picture with an ID to recognize your face

Are you a Visitor or a Tourist?
If you are a Visitor or a Tourist, you need to have the following documents below:
1. Passport Copy
2. Copy of your home country driving license/ International driving permit

Do I pay any membership fees?

We do not charge our members any membership fees or deposits.
We may charge you a refundable fee of 5 AED to verify your payment method, which will instantly be refunded into your registered bank account

How long does the verification in the service take?

It typically takes up to 1 hour to verify your documents, but in some cases, it may take longer. You will receive updates about the verification process through the Anydrive app, or via SMS or email to the address you used for registration.

Where can I sign the agreement?

You may read the Agreement and accept its terms and conditions in the Anydrive app online upon the registration. I will be request to digitally sign hand over protocol before you start the rent.

My phone number has changed, what should I do?

To change your phone number, you need to send us an e-mail with your new phone number from the e-mail address which you have indicated upon the registration in Anydrive service to info@anydrive.io and to enclose a selfie with your ID card.

What should I do if my ID card or driver's license has changed?

To prevent identity theft and fraud, your personal information can't be changed online. In order to change it, please email a scanned copy of your new driver's license to info@anydrive.io. Attach a copy of your driver's license/ ID card and a selfie with your driver´s license/ ID card. Please contact Customer Care Services as soon as possible to update your driver's license/ID card in your Anydrive account.

How to link a bank card?

You may link your card through the Anydrive app.
- In the Anydrive app click on your name.
- Then select Payment methods, click Show, and then – Add a card. Enter the card owner’s name as specified on the card using Latin characters, card number without spaces, card validity period and three-digit CVV/CVC code stated on the back side of the card.
- You can link several bank cards to your account.
- you can add new cards or remove the old ones you don't want to use anymore
Please note that your bank card must be open for online transactions and the card you use needs to have your name on it.
We may charge you a refundable fee of 5 AED to verify your payment method, which will instantly be refunded into your registered bank account.

Which countries driving license/permit is accepted by Anydrive?

What are the eligibility criteria for UAE residents?
 
What are the eligibility criteria for UAE residents to rent a vehicle? A valid UAE driving license (minimum 6 months) and Emirates ID are required. If your UAE license is less than 6 months old, a secondary document from any country is needed to prove minimum 6 months of driving experience.
 
What are the eligibility criteria for Visitors and Tourists?
 
Eligibility criteria for Visitors and Tourists include a valid driving license (minimum 6 months) and passport copy.

Visitor and Tourist who holds a valid driving license from list of countries below irrespective of one's national origin, does not require an international drivers permit:

I’m a foreigner, can I use the service?

Anyone is welcome to rent a vehicle from Anydrive as long as you meet the following criteria:

Who can drive the vehicle once I am in an active trip?

In accordance with UAE vehicle rental laws only the approved customer can drive the vehicle

My account is still awaiting validation

Our verification team is available 24/7 to quickly review your Anydrive account, It typically takes up to 1 hour to verify your documents, but in some cases, it may take longer.
In order for our team to be able to easily review your account, it’s important that all documents are uploaded correctly as requested through the app.

Please note that:
We do not accept a photo of a photo, we need the original document
We do not accept the certificate of driving license obtention, you will need to wait to receive your official driving license card
Some driving licenses also require an International driving licenses, in these cases both driving licenses will be asked for.

My account has been refused

Unfortunately, if your account has been rejected, it is because our security service has detected an issue with your account.
At Anydrive, we consider various factors to determine eligibility. Ensuring the safety and reliability of our platform is our top priority.
We use a complex set of criteria and conduct thorough checks to verify the identities of our users.
Although we cannot provide specific details about our internal security processes, the decision may be influenced by factors such as:
- a breach of our general terms and conditions,
- security concerns identified by our internal systems,
- suspected fraudulent activity or evidence of shared accounts.

How do I deactivate my account?

In order to deactivate your Anydrive account please send a request through the app in your profile section.
All personal and payment details will be retained for a maximum period of 45 days and automatically be deleted from our system.
Note:
We will not deactivate your account if there are any unpaid invoices

What is included in my rental?

With every Anydrive rental, you receive:
Basic insurance that covers: Third Party Liability which safeguards against damages inflicted on third parties, as well as protection from theft, fire, and other damages subject to an excess.
An initial mileage allowance, which is specified at the time of your booking.

Please note that fuel is not included in your rental. We simply ask that you return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when you started, otherwise, an administrative fee will be applied.
For electric vehicles, while charging might be complimentary in certain locations, we request that the car be returned with at least 10% battery charge.

Payment for extra mileage

Your rental comes with a set number of miles you can drive. If you happen to exceed the maximum mileage limit, you will be charged extra. The Anydrive app will show you how much each additional kilometer costs before you confirm your booking.

When do I get billed for rentals?

Customers should always ensure they have enough funds in the selected payment method before starting their booking.

Any additional mileage costs will be added to your bill after we determine the number of kilometers you exceeded.

Toll gate fees (SALIK/DARB)  and fines will be added to your bill within 10 working days.
 
For extra mileage cost you may be billed in between your trip in partial payments. If the payment is unsuccessful on your account, the trip could be ended from our side and the car could be immobilized.

What are the daily rates for a rental?

The price of a daily rental from Anydrive is determined by various factors, such as the selected rental period, its length, mileage included,  the specific car model, availability, and any additional options or preferences chosen.
To receive an accurate quote based on your specific needs, we suggest starting a booking through our app.

Who pays the Toll Gate Charges (SALIK/DARB)?

Customers are responsible for all Toll Gate charges (SALIK/DARB) incurred during your trip.
Anydrive also charge an administration fee of 1.50 AED for every Toll gate passed during your trip.
If you have passed through any toll gate (SALIK/DARB), you will be invoiced separately within 14 days.

Who pays for fuel?

At Anydrive, fuel is not included in your rental package. We simply ask that you return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when you started the rental. If refueling is inconvenient for you, we are happy to take care of it for an additional administrative fee on top of the fuel costs.

For those renting our electric vehicles, there is no need to match the initial battery charge. However, it is important to make sure the battery level is at least 10% when returning the vehicle.

What happens if I get a fine during my journey?

All fines will be charged separately within 5-7 business days of your reservation, with an additional administration charge as per the Anydrive pricing schedule on our website.

All fines will be charged automatically on your preferred payment method along with admin fees as per the Anydrive pricing.
You will have 24hrs to respond and appeal the fine.

How to book and rent a car?

You can select any available car through the Anydrive mobile application, choose the number of days for rental and the rental period, and click the "Pay" button to reserve it.
Your rental will be confirmed once we have processed your request and the payment is successfully made.

How to pick up the car?

Before your rental starts, you will find the exact details of the car you will be using in the App. This includes its location, make and model, and license plate number.

The exact method of accessing the vehicle and starting the rental varies depending on the location and car model. They may include:
• using the App to unlock the car (default);
• getting the key from a key box or from a member of our staff by the car.

How to return the car?

To finish the rental, you need to park the car according to the traffic rules within the Home Area on a place with free access to public, within the parking zone. Use the app to end your rental. Please check whether all windows, trunk and doors are closed, then move the automatic transmission lever to the “P” position, turn off the ignition by pressing "Start/Stop" button in the car. Go out from the car and close the doors, press the “Finish Rental” button in the app. Make sure the car is locked by checking the door handle.

If you don't leave the car in the right spot, you'll have to pay for getting it back and an extra fee. Your rental isn't over until you've brought the car back to the designated area shown in the app, and you'll keep being charged until then. If you don't return the car on time and haven't extended your rental, you might not be able to use the car anymore.

You cannot end a trip in private, underground or mall parking.

How to pay for the rental?

The payment is made in UAE dirham in accordance with the chosen rate. To pay for the rent you have to link a bank card to your Anydrive account after the registration. The payment will be done automatically after each booking, so please make sure you have enough money on your bank card prior you start the booking.
We accept payments made by credit or debit card with an online payment function. We only accept physical payment cards; virtual cards are not accepted. You must bring your payment card with you and present it to a member of our staff for validation, if requested.
The card you use to pay for Anydrive Services must be in your name.
We will charge the cost of the rental, including any extra services you have added to your rental from your payment card at the time of the booking. If you add any Optional Extras to your rental at a later time, we will charge the cost on the same payment card.
In the case of Car Subscription, we will charge the cost of the rental in monthly instalments from your payment card. The final instalment will be proportional to the number of days you used the car during the final month.

Who pays the road fines?

You are responsible for all administrative offenses and fines imposed against the company resulting from your non-compliance with traffic rules, as well as for the forced evacuation of the car by the relevant services. Anydrive will pay the fine and then request a reimbursement from you with an admin fee. Information about the fine is sent to the e-mail that you have mentioned upon the registration in the Anydrive service. We accept payments made by credit or debit card with an online payment function. We only accept physical payment cards; virtual cards are not accepted. You must bring your payment card with you and present it to a member of our staff for validation, if requested.
The card you use to pay for Anydrive Services must be in your name.

Where are the keys?

You don't need the key to open the car and start the rent – the car can be opened by using mobile application Anydrive. To start the engine, you need to accept the car by pressing “Start Rent” button in the Anydrive mobile application, then hold down the brake pedal and press the Start/Stop button in the car.

Where can I park the car?

You can finish your rent and park Anydrive cars in the allowed Parking zone specified in the Anydrive app in accordance with the traffic rules.

It is not allowed to finish the rent on the underground parking lots, on sidewalks, in closed or specialized parking, in private parking and garages, in places where there is no access to the GPS system or to the Internet, in parking spaces for disabled people, specialized parking for trucks, on the territory of paid parking, which is not included in the zone of a legal public street parking, as well as behind barriers.

If you want to park the car and to continue the ride afterwards, switch your rental to the "Standby" mode in the mobile app by clicking the button "Close". Parking in the "Standby" mode is allowed within the Home area.

Do I have to pay any security deposit?

If you rent a certain type of vehicle, we may ask for a security deposit from your payment card 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up time. If you book your rental less than 48 hours in advance, the deposit will be taken as soon as your booking is confirmed and we verify your identity.
If there is any damage to the car during your rental, we will use part of the security deposit to cover the cost. If your rental is still going on, we may take an additional deposit from your payment card to make sure there's enough coverage. If someone else causes damage to the car, we will hold onto your deposit until their insurance pays us back.
Once you return the car, we will give you back the security deposit within 3-5 business days unless there were any unexpected expenses or claims. If that's the case, we may keep some or all of the deposit until we know how much those costs are.
Refund times vary and can take 3-5 business days depending on your bank's processing. Most refunds are in the form of a cancellation, not a traditional refund. This means that there will be no visible refund on your bank statement, as the original payment authorization will simply disappear within a few days.

My payment or deposit has been refused

If your payment or deposit doesn't work, there could be a few reasons why:
- You may have reached the maximum amount allowed for transactions on your bank card.
- Your bank might have restrictions for making purchases online.

We recommend contacting your bank to find out why the payment didn't go through and to change your transaction limit if necessary.
Please note that our customer service may not be able to help with this issue as they do not have the resources to fix payment problems like this.

Where can I drive?

With Anydrive you can move within the Home Area - territory of the UAE. You may check boundaries of the Home Area on the map in your mobile application Anydrive. It is prohibited to use the car for training purposes, to participate in competitions, for towing, for driving off-road.

Can I smoke cigarettes or vape in the car?

It is FORBIDDEN to smoke cigarettes, including electronic devices, as well as vapes and hookahs, in our vehicles. If you violate this rule, you will be issued a fine according to the  General Terms and Conditions. You will also have to compensate us any costs connected with the dry cleaning of the vehicle interior.

Can I transport bulky cargo?

It is forbidden to transport bulky cargo in vehicles. If you violate this rule, you will be issued a fine according to the General Terms and Conditions. You will also have to compensate us any costs connected with the dry cleaning of the vehicle interior.

Can I drive to other Emirates?

You can drive anywhere, but the app won't let you finish your trip outside the Home zone, shown on our mobile app.

Can I carry pets in the car?

Animals may only be transported in special pet carriers ensuring the absence of direct contact of animals with the car. Transportation of large animals in the car is prohibited.  If you violate this rule, you will be issued a fine according to the General Terms and Conditions. You will also have to compensate us any costs connected with the dry cleaning of the vehicle interior.
